Bio
I am working on family-oriented social policies in authoritarian regimes that force gender division of labor and suppress feminist and LGBTI movements. I focus on social cash assistance programs in Turkey that govern poverty and population through a family-centered perspective.
I have been involved in the feminist struggle in Turkey for almost 20 years. I also participated in the refugee movements. I have worked as a project manager on humanitarian projects, which helped me develop a critical analysis of the term. I also worked on trauma and trauma-dissolving after domestic violence.
