Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies teaches students about international cultures, histories, politics, and economics. By studying abroad, students will further develop their understanding of the diversity of human experience.
Study abroad programs can be easily incorporated into your GSW academic plan. Students can receive academic credit while immersing themselves in a new culture (and possibly a new language). UCEAP and UC Davis Study Abroad offer a variety of programs with varying lengths in locations all over the world. You can study at a host university for a semester, a year, or even just a summer. UC faculty-led programs also exist in several locations that line-up more closely with the UC quarter timeline. Financial aid travels with you and there are numerous scholarships available that can help you fund your study abroad program. The key is to plan early! Your GSW major advisor and advisors from UC Davis Study Abroad are eager to help you plan this adventure!
