Abi graduated from UC Davis in 2024 with a double BA in Psychology and Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies. They joined HIP as an interim staff member shortly thereafter and now works for both the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies and African American and African Studies Departments. Abi can be reached for the following:

  • Course scheduling
  • Event support and catering purchases

Outside of work, Abi likes to go to libraries, go on walks with friends, and hang out with their two cats. 

If you are interested in TA-ing for the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Department, open positions can be found on Handshake. Hiring for the upcoming academic year takes place in April/May of the preceding year (ex: the applications for Fall 2026, Winter 2027, and Spring 2027 TA-ships opened in April-May 2026).
