The program coordinator provides administrative support to GSW through program coordination and faculty support. They can be reached for assistance with the following:

  • TA/AI/Reader hiring opportunities
  • Faculty access requests to archived evaluations
  • Banner course scheduling
  • Event support and catering purchases

If you are interested in TA-ing for the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Department, open positions can be found on Handshake. Hiring for the upcoming academic year takes place in April/May of the preceding year (ex: the applications for Fall 2025, Winter 2026, and Spring 2026 TA-ships opened in April-May 2025). Reader positions may be posted a couple months before the start of the relevant quarter and are dependent on enrollment. Announcements about applications should be sent out by your Graduate Program Coordinator, but if you have any other GSW questions, please contact the GSW Program Coordinator.
