Sasha Pesci is a PhD candidate in Geography who is originally from Mendoza, Argentina. Her work focuses on sustainability and equity in the food system. Her dissertation research explores how small-scale farmers in California are navigating the growing trend toward online sales and marketing. She received a B.A./B.S. in Geography and Environmental Science at Stetson University (2014) and an M.A. in Geography at UC Davis (2019).
