Sarah Thompson (she/they) holds a Ph.D. in Performance Studies with Designated Emphases in Classics and Classical Receptions and Feminist Theory and Research from the University of California, Davis. Her research focuses on the contemporary adaptation and translation of Greek tragedy. She has taught at UC Davis and Los Medanos College and is a Resident Teaching Artist at Berkeley Playhouse. They love teaching drama, film, performance, and pop culture through the lens of feminist theory. Thompson has collaborated as librettist, vocalist, performer, and dramaturg with various artists, including the music collective LA Signal Lab.
