Judith Newton is Professor Emerita of Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies. She was the first paid director of the Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies Program at UC Davis and past director of the Consortium for Women and Research. She is the author and editor of five books, the most recent being From Panthers to Promise Keepers: Rethinking the Men's Movement. She is currently finishing a memoir and a book of poetry.
