Graduate Student in English Literature with D.E in Feminist Theory and Research
Kristen Hanley Cardozo is a PhD student in English Literature, with a B.A. in English from Mills College. Her interests include disability, criminality, gender, critical race theory, the law, and the novel, all of which intersect in animal equivalencies and metaphor as used to structure people and agency. Her current project looks at how animality creates and interrupts personhood in the British long nineteenth century.
